For more than a decade, the years 2006-2007 have been infamous in real estate lore as the peak after which the "bubble burst." And so it was in Lower Makefield Township. The median single‑family resale price for homes in the township in 2006 reached a historic high of $425,000**.

For the 12 months ending July, 2017, the Lower Makefield median resale price for single‑family homes climbed to $422,000, the highest for past decade—less than 1% below the all-time, record high.
